American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract in Pittsfield, MA, requiring 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.
Details- Two 16-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 11:30 PM
- Holiday coverage required if applicable
- No on-call requirements
- Uses PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, with at least 1 year current
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- Active MA Radiology Technologist license required, or proof of application at time of consideration
- Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Proficiency with PACS, CR, DR, HIS, and RIS systems
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- X-Ray Technologist skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration
- Perform a wide variety of radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and the application of appropriate skills to support diagnosis
- May be assigned supervisory or instructional responsibilities by the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager
- Maintains compliance with infection control, body substance isolation, OSHA standards, and patient confidentiality policies
- Must stay current with continuing education requirements for radiology
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted; all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and will not be approved afterward
