Job Description
Position: General Manager
Reports to: Operations Manager/ Chief Operating Officer
\n Job Accountabilities: To oversee the complete operations of the restaurant. To ensure high standards of customer service and profitability while strictly adhering to the policies and procedures of Beau Jo’s Management Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
\nSupervise shift operations and assistant managers.
\nStrictly follow company cash handling procedures.
\nManage restaurant marketing and promotions.
\nManage overall restaurant budget.
\nPromptly and professionally handle guest comments.
\nCommunicate all employee issues/complaints to management team through Red Book or one-on -one.
\nPerformance Reviews on an ongoing basis.
\nFollow and understand company procedures at all times including crisis situations.
\nSelf-starter putting focus on driving sales and creating partnerships with businesses and schools in the area
\nOTHER DUTIES:
\nMaintain performance standards and motivates team through positive role modeling.
\nDepartmental responsibilities, (i.e. Bar Manager, Service Manager, Host Manager).
\nInterview, hire and train personnel-ongoing.
\nPractie safe food handling procedures and enforce safety procedures in restaurant.
\nUnderstand and report Workers’ Compensation and General Liability Claims using proper procedures.
\nMake appropriate decisions in a fast paced environment. (Assign breaks, side work & stations).
\nOther functions assigned by management.
\nJob qualifications:
\n Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years working in restaurant environment. \n
- Minimum of 1 year General Manager experience preferred. \n
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
\n- \n
- Ability to be self-starter. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills. \n
- Strong organizational skills. \n
Physical Requirements:
\n- \n
- 100% Walk and stand. \n
- 90% Communicate with patrons and staff. \n
- 50% Operate cash register and POS system and cash handling. \n
- 25% Reach, bend, wipe, and lift up to 50 pounds. \n
