Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
  • Understanding of developmental milestones and speech/language disorders
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Support individual and group therapy sessions as outlined by treatment plans
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and assist in progress reporting
  • Implement therapy activities and carryover strategies within the classroom and school routines
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and data collection as needed
  • Communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
