This position offers a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekend rotations and holidays as needed.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on cardiac patients to join our Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients with various cardiac conditions and a solid understanding of telemetry monitoring.

\n\nResponsibilities\n
    \n
  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and telemetry monitoring.
  • \n
  • Provide pre and post-operative care for cardiac catheterizations.
  • \n
  • Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
  • \n
  • Perform procedural sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
  • \n
  • Manage chest tubes and provide tracheostomy care.
  • \n
  • Utilize rapid response teams effectively.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care.
  • \n
\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
    \n
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
  • \n
  • Current RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NIH certification preferred.
  • \n
  • Experience with EPIC charting system.
  • \n
  • Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:5 and managing drips/BiPAP.
  • \n
  • Charge RN experience is preferred but not mandatory.
