American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical Unit (Med/Surg) night shift position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or Compact RN license and NIHSS certification.
Details- Hospital-based surgical unit with a primarily adult patient population and a small number of pediatric patient beds
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Floating to other units may be required
- 13-week contract
- Active WI or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS and NIHSS
- Prior med/surg or surgical unit experience required
- Education verification required for consideration
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care
- Participates in unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
- Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
