School-Based Physical Therapist - Courtland, Virginia

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services, primarily focusing on compensatory interventions for students
• Manage an assigned caseload across K-12th grade, collaborating with teachers, families, and other school staff
• Conduct assessments, develop therapy goals, and track individual progress as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Support students in accessing educational programs by improving their physical functioning and independence
• Maintain documentation, prepare IEP reports, and comply with district and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development relevant to school physical therapy

This position offers a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting on August 24, 2026.
