About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and medical staff with surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure all surgical tools are properly sterilized and organized.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with patient positioning during procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Document and track surgical supplies and equipment usage.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols in the surgical setting.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in surgical technology preferred.
• Previous experience as a scrub technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care.
• Flexible schedule with availability for on-call shifts as needed.
