Core Accountabilities

• Execute thorough surface prep: cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming to documented standards.
• Mix coatings, paints, and finishes per specification sheets; verify ratios, viscosity, and pot life.
• Apply finishes via spray, brush, or roll to achieve required coverage, adhesion, and appearance.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to validate conformance to technical specs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow safety protocols rigorously.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to meet production timelines and quality targets.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance; identify and report malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental training in coatings or related trades preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial painting or finishing.
• Working knowledge of materials, prep methods, application techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read/interpret work orders, drawings, and finishing specifications.
• Detail orientation with a quality-first mindset.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.
• Physical capability to handle and lift heavier components as needed.
