Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Control Department supporting the production and release of high-quality medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Location: Medina, NY
Pay Range:$26.75/hr
Shift: Monday through Thursday: 5:30am - 4:00pm, OT as needed on Friday
What's the Job?
- Perform inspection of Device History Record (DHR) documentation for infusion pumps and wireless battery modules to ensure compliance with test procedures and release specifications.
- Inspect pumps and wireless battery modules visually to verify labels and overall appearance meet quality standards prior to release.
- Approve the release of devices in the ERP systems, such as JDE B4ONE and JDE GME, ensuring all documentation and nonconformance issues are addressed.
- Identify and document nonconformances, and coordinate rework activities to resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist in containment and investigation of nonconforming products on the manufacturing floor, maintaining strict adherence to process control procedures.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of measurement equipment, cGMP documentation, and FDA regulations.
- Basic understanding of ESD requirements and proficiency with computer-based programs, data entry, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger motions with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
