Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Shawnee Mission, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients throughout the shift
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience
• Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience
• Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed
• Compliance with facility dress code: Navy Blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or familiarity
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting within a fast-paced hospital environment
