Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Outpatient Infusion / BMT)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 4x9.5 Hours (7:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage chemotherapy and biotherapy, including investigational protocols
• Perform transfusions of blood, platelets, and fresh frozen plasma
• Conduct port draws, phlebotomy, central line access, and central line care
• Assist in procedural area including bone marrow biopsy/aspiration with minimal analgesia and recovery monitoring
• Monitor and manage treatment-related toxicities including neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities with repletion
• Rotate through multiple clinic areas including infusion/day hospital, lab/port draw, clinic, and bone marrow biopsy suite

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state required at time of submittal
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, including outpatient infusion clinic experience (inpatient oncology experience may count toward total experience but does not substitute for outpatient infusion clinic experience)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float within scope as needed
• 2 professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Experience with autologous or allogeneic bone marrow transplant or CAR-T patient populations
