TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified OR RN in Alliance, Nebraska, 69301!

Job Title

RN - Operating Room (Acute)

Alliance, NE

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Varied 8-hour shifts with start times between 5:45 AM and 6:45 AM; includes one call night per week and one call weekend per month

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Operating Room across a variety of case types including Endoscopy, Urology, Orthopedics (total knee, spine, hand, elbow, and shoulders), Dental, and ENT
• Pull preference cards, perform room turnover, and assist with room cleaning as required in a Critical Access Facility setting
• Utilize Omnicell for medication and supply management and Meditech (Surgery module) for electronic charting
• Coordinate with equipment representatives who are present for the majority of surgical cases
• Provide post-operative care in the Recovery Room, including care of pediatric patients as needed
• Take call as scheduled, including assignment to the last case of the day when on call

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Circulator experience required; scrub experience is not required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — all must be issued through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PACU experience (Phase 2), including administering medications in a post-anesthesia care setting
• Prior experience working in a Critical Access Facility
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
