Pay Rate: $2.00 per loaded mile

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Class A CDL Company Driver to join our team. This role specializes in transporting modular office buildings and oversized commercial structures across the Southeast. Our primary lanes run through Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi, with additional routes extending into Georgia and Kentucky. Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transport: Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle pulling specialized modular office structures across multi-state regional routes.
• Compliance & Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure absolute safety, mechanical integrity, and full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Logistics & Documentation: Manage all trip-related paperwork efficiently, including keeping clean Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and organizing Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Clear Communication: Maintain consistent, proactive communication with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or any unexpected issues encountered on the road.

Position Requirements

• License & Records: Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) accompanied by a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Health & Safety: Must have a current DOT medical card and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Oversized Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving, securement, and hauling wide or oversized structures.
• DOT Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) hours-of-service rules and regulatory compliance.
• Experience: Prior experience hauling flatbed, oversized, or manufactured/modular housing units is highly preferred but not required for a highly dependable driver.
