Forklift Operator

Abacus Staffing is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations. The Forklift Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, stacking, and staging products and materials while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and warehouse storage areas.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Accurately move and track inventory according to company procedures.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and order preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and comply with all safety regulations.
• Follow company policies, OSHA standards, and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Basic warehouse and inventory management knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime when required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
