Bilingual Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual-Spanish Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong forklift operation skills, bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems. This position plays a vital role in supporting our distribution operations, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory movements, stock levels, and order picking.
• Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies or damages.
• Stock shelves efficiently while maintaining organized storage areas to facilitate quick access.
• Support order fulfillment activities by picking and packing items according to customer specifications.
• Use basic math skills to count stock accurately and prepare shipments with proper labeling and packaging.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to operational procedures and participating in regular safety training.
• Collaborate with warehouse management system (WMS) operators and other team members to optimize workflow.

Experience

• Prior experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or equivalent) and RF scanner technology.
• Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes within e-commerce or retail environments.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to facilitate communication across diverse teams.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Summer Schedule:

Monday-Friday 4:30am - 12:30pm
