Customer Service Associate for a biotechnology company located in the Irvine CA area.
This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity. Paying $20-21/hr, depending on experience. Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Looking for a positive and solutions-oriented individual to join our Customer Service team. This role supports customers worldwide with order and product-related inquiries, manages incoming orders, and collaborates with internal departments to fulfill customer requests. The successful candidate will help identify customer needs, ensure a positive customer experience, and contribute to continuous process improvements within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process orders placed via email, fax, and phone using Oracle NetSuite.
- Provide phone and email support to customers on order and product-related inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
- Resolve and follow-up on order-related discrepancies.
- Coordinate returns, replacements, refunds, and credit memos.
- Provide customer insight, feedback, and participate as a consultant to the internal team for customer experience improvements.
- Cultivate good relationships with key accounts.
- Maintain customer accounts and record customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer requests.
- Advise customers on lead times, current promotions, and company policies.
- Provide feedback on workflows and processes to identify and optimize areas of improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail in administrative, order-processing, data-entry, or customer operations work.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems preferred.
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
