Restaurant Manager

Well-known casual dining establishment in Massapequa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to run the daily activities of both the front / back of the house.

Candidate Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience in a restaurant management position
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines either independently or as part of a team
• Ability to provide support in any area as required, i.e., back end, expediting, front end, etc. 

Responsibilities include:

• Hires, fires, trains and evaluates employees for front end / back end staff 
• Oversight of all daily activities; knowledge of day to day operations
• Food procurement / food vendor relationships
• Develops and implements food budgets
• Motivates employees through incentives and positive feedback
• Establish superior performance standards for the employee population
• Ensures that the company is on track to meet its sales goals

This is a full-time position and requires 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends.  2 days off per week guaranteed.  

Salary commensurate with experience.
