The Automotive Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing vehicles through detailed diagnostics and hands-on mechanical work. Collaborating within a team, this role focuses on on-site repairs ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing optimally.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
• Conduct engine repairs and routine maintenance
• Maintain and repair brake systems
• Repair electrical systems and related components
• Service vehicle transmissions for functionality
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Collaborate with team members on repair tasks
• Adhere to standard shift scheduling for on-site repairs

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
• Vocational training in Automotive Technology
• ASE Certification preferred
• Proficient in automotive diagnostics and engine repair
• Skilled in brake systems and electrical system repairs
• Experienced in transmission repair
• Competent in use of hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Effective communication and time management skills
