Maintenance Helper – Pasadena, TX
Location: Baytown, TX
Pay: $18.50/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Helper to support our facilities team in daily operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in maintenance, assist with repairs, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance staff with general repairs and upkeep
- Perform routine cleaning, organization, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Help with equipment setup, moving, and minor repairs
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report issues or needed repairs to the maintenance supervisor
- Support team efforts to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
- Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- Prior maintenance or construction experience is a plus but not required
