CDL Class A Driver

The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of refrigerated goods within local routes, typically operating refrigerated trailers. This role involves frequent overnight trips and requires fluency in Spanish to ensure effective communication. The driver will work independently, managing delivery schedules and overcoming challenges on the road while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated trailers safely on local routes
• Adhere to federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals
• Communicate effectively in Spanish with dispatch and stakeholders
• Identify and resolve operational problems during trips

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Prior commercial driving experience
• Defensive driving skills
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in Spanish
• Effective problem-solving abilities
