Paramount Cutting Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces on various construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and expertise in working with different types of concrete and finishing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set forms to ensure proper depth and pitch.

• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, and other tools.

• Apply curing and sealing compounds to concrete surfaces.

• Monitor weather conditions and adjust techniques accordingly to ensure quality finishing.

• Cut expansion joints using saws or hand tools.

• Repair and patch existing concrete surfaces.

• Operate various finishing equipment, including trowel machines and grinders.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Work collaboratively with other construction professionals to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a concrete finisher.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with concrete mixing, finishing, and repair techniques.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to achieve smooth and level surfaces.

• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.

• Valid Driver’s License: Preferred but not required.
