Position Title: Carpenter

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Carpenter to complete a project in the next 8 weeks. The Carpenter will be responsible for framing and/or drywall. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, accurately measure and cut materials, and safely operate hand and power tools while ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other construction materials.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with supervisors, and other team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous carpentry or construction experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and construction equipment.
