Mechanical Assembler

This new hire will be able to handle large and small machine sub-assemblies with precision fitments. Must be able to identify fitment problems and communicate problems with an understanding of GD&T. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experience is all a plus. Must have some experience in machining (milling machines and lathes)

Responsibilities-

• Read mechanical assembly blueprints to plan actions for machine assembly. Use a variety of hand and power tools to aid in efficient and precise assembly.
• Make modifications to parts inaccessible to machinists.
• Troubleshoot and test new assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Move machinery safely and carefully, rigging experience is valuable.
• Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing technical assembly knowledge.
• Maintain a safe work environment by using rigging equipment properly to lift/move large parts.
• Electrical and/or Pneumatic experience is desired.

Requirements-

• Minimum 1-4 years of mechanical experience.
• General Machining experience/knowledge preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clearly communicate goals and progress with management.
• Basic computer skills.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Solid understanding of fitment and tolerances of complex machine assemblies.
• Must pass drug screen and physical.
