Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Complex Intervention Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an adult acute care unit serving patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions
• Manage a patient assignment on either the acute care side (1:3 ratio) or the behavioral health side (1:4 ratio) as unit needs require
• Float within scope of practice to support unit staffing needs across both sides of the unit
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response activities as required, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with co-occurring behavioral health and medical conditions
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
