Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on spine and post-operative patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 in collaboration with LPN and PCT support staff
• Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs across an 18–20 bed unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Travel RN background with ability to adapt quickly to a new unit environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
