Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Participate in heart and lung transplant procedures
• Take call as required per unit scheduling needs
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout all phases of the operative experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing
• Demonstrated experience with heart and lung transplant procedures
• Ability and willingness to take call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Prior experience in a high-acuity transplant surgical environment
