Our client, a leading organization dedicated to youth development and community engagement, is seeking a Tampa Youth Program Specialist to join their team. As a Tampa Youth Program Specialist, you will be part of the Summer Youth Services team supporting career development initiatives for youth aged 16-21. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for empowering young people, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Range: $17-$19
Shift: First Shift
What's the Job?
- Promote all programs and services available to youth and their guardians to ensure awareness and engagement.
- Provide guidance and instruction to youth on required activities and program participation.
- Assist with initial applications, orientations, and prepare registration/intake packets for group sessions.
- Review and screen youth applications for eligibility based on program guidelines, and determine the appropriate program track.
- Schedule youth for group registration sessions, manage case documentation, and track progress using designated systems.
What's Needed?
- Excellent organizational and data entry skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with youth, guardians, and community partners.
- Ability to assess eligibility and provide accurate information regarding program requirements.
- Experience in managing case files, preparing reports, and coordinating services.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and supporting diverse populations.
