Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - PRN | Days | Nights

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a well-known hospital located in Russellville, AL to recruit compassionate, driven, and highly skilled Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department team.

As an ER Registered Nurse, you’ll assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care during some of the most critical moments of their lives while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, compassion, and community-centered care.

Schedule: PRN | Days | Nights

What You’ll Do

• Advocate for patients of all ages, respond to emergencies, and maintain an efficient ER environment
  
• Perform patient assessments and implement individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
  
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately
  
• Respond rapidly to trauma, medical emergencies, and critical situations
  
• Coordinate nursing care and patient assignments based on acuity and staff competencies
  
• Accurately document patient status, interventions and responses in the electronic medical record
  
• Provide compassionate support and communication to patients and families
  
• Uphold the highest standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care
  

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  
• Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license
  
• BLS certification required; Must obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire
  
• TNCC preferred
  
• Previous Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
  
• New graduates with a passion for emergency medicine are encouraged to apply
