Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-site | 13-week assignment with potential to extend | Call required | Holiday coverage required | Floating required

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor in Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), TEEs, cardioversions, peripheral procedures, and other cardiac cases
• Responsible for moderate sedation, including preparation and administration of medications
• Clean and stock the cath lab following procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout all assigned cases
• Float to other units as needed, typically in a sitter capacity
• Participate in on-call rotation with a minimum of 15 call days required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate and monitor in LHC, RHC, TEEs, cardioversions, and peripheral cardiac procedures
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Fingerprinting required for all travelers working in New Mexico

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Xper, MedHost, and PACS electronic medical record systems
• Availability to extend beyond the initial 13-week contract
