Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum stages
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized birthing preferences and clinical needs
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other bedside equipment throughout labor and delivery
• Assist with and support Cesarean births in a specialized operative environment as needed
• Deliver postpartum and mother-baby care, including lactation support and newborn assessment
• Participate in neonatal resuscitation and emergency response in accordance with NRP and STABLE protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required
• Postpartum (PP) and Mother-Baby (MB) experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Active STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical access or community hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric cases and 24-hour anesthesia-supported delivery services
• Experience providing individualized lactation consulting and newborn care guidance
