Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Weekends as needed (approximately every 3rd weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center operating room environment with 11 OR suites
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, spine, trauma, general, and neurological procedures including craniotomies
• Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio throughout all phases of surgical care
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards including medication administration via BCMA
• Utilize Cerner for electronic health record documentation and charting

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or a valid compact nursing license from a participating state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience
• Demonstrated experience in general, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neurological surgery (including craniotomies)
• Level I trauma center experience required; highly skilled candidates with recent Level II trauma experience in a comparable or larger facility may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Familiarity with high-volume, acute care surgical environments
• Comfort with floating to other units or affiliate locations based on census and skill set
