Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 10-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated shift, delivering care consistent with the nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care delivery across applicable age groups.
• Prescribe and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessment, input from patients, and significant others.
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care.
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• PALS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire.
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; charting system must be documented for each work history entry.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
