Buyer/Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Execution & Expedite - Create, manage, and aggressively follow up on purchase orders. Drive on-time delivery through supplier communication, escalation, and prioritization of critical parts.
• Supplier Coordination & Issue Resolution - Work directly with suppliers to track orders, resolve delays, and address quality or fulfillment issues. Escalate risks early and drive to resolution including RMA initiation.
• Build Support & Cross-Functional Coordination - Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement activity with evolving priorities and design timelines.
• Order & Supply Visibility - Maintain accurate, real-time visibility into open orders, delivery timelines, and material risks. Communicate status clearly to stakeholders.
• Data Tracking & Continuous Improvement - Track key metrics (on-time delivery, shortages, inventory levels) and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and responsiveness.
