Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with a 24-bed capacity
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS standards as required
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities within 75 miles as needed to meet staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Critical Care or Telemetry
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Completed EKG Course/Telemetry competency test required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Epic electronic health records system
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity patient populations in a stepdown or PCU environment
