RN - ICU (Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit)

Dubuque, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or a compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and assigned holidays including July 3rd and 4th

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical care monitoring equipment and ventilator management
• CCRN certification or progress toward certification
