Registered Nurse – Vascular OR (CVOR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday (scheduled per unit needs) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate complex vascular surgical cases including endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, thrombectomy, carotid, AV fistula, amputation, and cold leg procedures
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity vascular operating room environment
• Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 6–8 calls per month including occasional weekend and holiday call
• Utilize electronic health record system (EPIC) for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and wear a provided radiation badge as required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license must be in hand at the time of contract start
• Minimum of 2 years of vascular OR circulating experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate complex vascular cases (scrubbing experience not required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications – must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call assignments, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers with 5 or more years of vascular OR experience may be considered
• Familiarity with a wide range of vascular procedures including TEVAR, FEVAR, EVAR, and carotid surgery
• Prior experience working in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
