Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. The Dietitian will provide comprehensive nutrition care for inpatient and outpatient populations by conducting nutritional assessments, developing individualized nutrition care plans, and providing medical nutrition therapy. Responsibilities include counseling patients and families, monitoring calorie and protein intake, recommending nutritional support when appropriate, managing tube feeding recommendations according to established guidelines, and documenting all assessments, interventions, education, and follow-up using the Nutrition Care Process and International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology (IDNT). The Dietitian will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital Dietitian experience (Required)
• Previous travel healthcare experience (Highly Preferred)
• Experience providing medical nutrition therapy to inpatient and outpatient populations
• Strong knowledge of nutritional assessment, nutrition support, tube feeding management, and patient education
• Experience documenting using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) and IDNT
