About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified CST in Saranac Lake, New York, 12983!

Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment. This position offers 40 guaranteed hours per week on 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying start times.

The Surgical Technologist is an integral member of the multidisciplinary surgical team, responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment, and providing scrub support throughout surgical procedures. The technologist is expected to anticipate the surgeon's needs, ensure proper instrument availability, and collaborate closely with the perioperative team to promote safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while functioning under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Candidates must have broad surgical experience, with strong vascular and orthopedic experience, as they will be expected to scrub a variety of procedures.
