Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact in the educational journey of students by providing district-wide school psychology services for the academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support a diverse K-12 population across four buildings, collaborating with educators and families to foster student growth and development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate is required
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, consultation, and behavioral intervention skills
- Expertise in working with students across a range of grade levels and learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret results for educational planning
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement student support plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary meetings across the district’s four buildings
- Offer individual and group counseling, as well as consultation with parents and families
This contract position expects a full-time weekly commitment of 35-37.5 hours, running from August 26, 2026 through June 14, 2027. The environment promotes meaningful collaboration and the opportunity to help shape positive outcomes for students at all grade levels.
