What You’ll Bring:

• A valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Maine
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to assess, design, and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
• Thorough understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct PT services to K-8 students 4 hours per week
• Develop, update, and implement individualized intervention plans to support student mobility and access to the school curriculum
• Monitor student progress and adjust goals as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success in the classroom and beyond
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on mobility, accessibility, and safe movement within the school environment

This position covers the summer school term (07/07/2026-07/30/2026) and continues for the full 2026-2027 academic year (08/24/2026-06/11/2027), offering a consistent, meaningful part-time schedule.
