Description

Associate Scientist supports process development for large molecule drug substances, with a focus on vaccine-related programs. This role involves designing and executing experiments, optimizing downstream processes, and performing chemical reactions and purification of polysaccharide intermediates and drug products. The individual will analyze and interpret data, ensure alignment with SOPs and regulatory standards, and contribute to process scale-up and technology transfer into GMP manufacturing. Additionally, the role includes maintaining detailed documentation, authoring technical reports, and collaborating cross-functionally with QA, RA, MSAT, and analytical teams to support development and regulatory submissions.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (0–2 years experience) Industry exposure to process development (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment Ability to train others on instrumentation and lab processes Familiarity with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and scientific best practices Physical ability to handle lab materials (up to ~40 lbs)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
