Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students across a diverse, district-wide setting. A contract position is available for a licensed School Psychologist ready to provide services across K-12 levels. In this role, you will engage with students, educators, and families in four schools, delivering essential psychological services throughout the academic year.

You will work between 35-37.5 hours weekly, ensuring consistent support and collaboration, beginning August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate is required
  • Prior experience assessing, counseling, and supporting K-12 students preferred
  • Proficiency in executing interventions, conducting evaluations, and consulting with school teams
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Skilled in building rapport with students, staff, and families across varying grade levels
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive student psychological assessments and interpret results
  • Provide individual and group counseling services supporting students’ social-emotional needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor interventions and behavior support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster positive student outcomes
  • Offer crisis intervention and assistance when needed
  • Support the creation of safe, inclusive learning environments in multiple school buildings
