Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications
- Current or conditional Maine DOE State Licensure (282)
- Maine DOE Background Check (CHRC) required
- Experience with Adaptive Life Skills or willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction in Middle School or Elementary Adaptive Life Skills classrooms
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student learning
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Communicate progress with parents, guardians, and stakeholders
- Maintain organized records and comply with all reporting requirements
