Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert care in a supportive educational environment during both summer school and the academic year. This role features a unique schedule: four hours per week during summer school (07/07/2026 - 07/30/2026) followed by a part time commitment for the 2026-2027 school year (08/24/2026 - 06/11/2027). You'll collaborate with educators and families, providing direct intervention and guidance tailored to each student's needs.
What you’ll bring:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maine
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassion, patience, and a child-centered approach
Main responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical and functional abilities using established protocols
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support learning and participation
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions during scheduled sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote student success
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation for all evaluations and sessions
- Participate in meetings and contribute to IEPs as needed
