Physical Therapist - School Setting in Putney, VT

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Vermont Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop personalized therapy goals
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions in accordance with IEPs
• Consult with educators, families, and staff to promote student participation
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Empower students to maximize independence and functional mobility within the school setting
