School Psychologist - Gardner, Massachusetts

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current or eligibility for state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience with psychoeducational assessments and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention within educational environments
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor interventions as part of the special education process
• Provide individual and group counseling to address psychological, academic, and behavioral challenges
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Offer expert guidance in data-driven decision-making to promote student success
• Support school-wide initiatives centered on mental health, behavior, and positive school climate
