Physical Therapist - School Setting in Bellows Falls, VT

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality services to a K-12 caseload, helping students develop, improve, or restore functional mobility and independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Vermont Physical Therapist license (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation
• Ability to work effectively and compassionately with students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade
• Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering student success and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students (2 days/week)
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional input and advocating for appropriate physical therapy interventions
• Track progress, update documentation, and communicate with families regarding student needs and achievements
• Support school staff through training and exercise recommendations tailored to student needs
