Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services across a supportive district. This contract opportunity calls for a district-wide school psychologist to support K-12 students in four buildings for the upcoming academic year. With consistent full-time hours from late August through mid-June, you’ll collaborate with a committed educational team to create a positive and productive school environment near Bellows Falls, VT.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Effective communicator, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting student success in diverse settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Offer counseling services to students individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support learning, behavior, and mental health
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
