Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $34.11.

Main Ingredients of the Job! 
\n As a US FOODS® Class B Delivery Driver you will be responsible for.
\n Schedule: Monday - Friday with early morning start times.
\n Great Class B Delivery Drivers are crucial to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Class B Delivery Drivers strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with team members. 

\n

What you bring to the table 
\n Education/Training: 
\n •    High School Diploma/ required 
\n •    Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
\n •    Must be at least 21 years of age
\n •    Must have valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
\n •    Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
\n •    Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
\n •    Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
\n •     Related Experience/Requirements:   
\n o     Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
\n o    Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
\n Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  
\n •    Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
\n •    Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
\n •    Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
\n •    Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
\n •    Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
\n •    Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
