Full-Time Respiratory Therapist

Birkwood Village of Fort Madison, Iowa is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team! We have a 13-bed ventilator unit that specializes in cardiopulmonary treatment for patients who are ventilator and tracheostomy dependent, and those with various respiratory diseases and conditions.

Work Location: 1702 41st street, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627

Job Type: Fulle time nights.

Shift Available: All Shifts

Base Pay: $34.00/hour plus experience pay /Shift Differential for evenings and nights

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with a variety of pulmonary diseases
• Tracheostomy care and ventilator management
• Oxygen therapy and monitoring
• Rehabilitation and ventilator weaning
• Nocturnal support with CPAP/BiPAP
• Daily documentation

Education:

• Actively licensed by the State of Iowa as an RCP
• Graduate of a CoARC approved respiratory therapy program
• Credentialed as a CRT or RRT by the NBRC
• BLS/CPR
